I am sure that you have heard someone say or maybe have said yourself that you don't have time to exercise to lose weight and get six pack abs. I know that I have made that statement once or twice myself. However when you look at it logically you will find that there is ample time.
You only need 30 minutes 3 to 5 times a week which equals 2 1/2 hours at the most. The argument of not enough time to get six pack abs does not hold water. If you break it down you will see that there are 168 hours in a week. If you work 40 hours plus an additional 10 hours for travel that leaves 118 hours. If you get 8 hours of sleep a night that's another 56 hours which still leaves you with 62 hours. Allotting two hours a night for TV viewing you still have 48 hours left. Of course there are miscellaneous things that we do each day like eating, cooking, cleaning and running errands, if we put aside 3 hours a day for these activities we are still left with 27 hours. That is over 1 full day a week. We must put aside the 2 ВЅ hours for exercise so we can finally get that flat belly and become healthier.
Now that we have established that there is time here are a few tricks that I have found useful. The thing that seems to work the best is to plan your day the night before. If you set down and write out your schedule you will be more likely to stay on track. Ensure that your exercise routine is a priority on your schedule. What works best for some people is to track your time for a full week. This gives you a better understanding of where your time is going. You can then use this to identify where you are wasting time and it will help you with your scheduling. Most people are surprised at how much time is wasted each day.
I know for some of you the work hours that I have laid out are not close to your schedule. Many people work well in excess of 50 hours a week. This is also true of working students. What I wanted to stress with this article is the importance of time management in our quest for six pack abs and a flat stomach. Even if your schedule is radically different than the one I have laid out, try the plans that I have described and I am sure that you will find the time to exercise.
